What would you do?

I recently visited a new place, the girl was very nice and did a really good massage but no extras. she had a nice smile and personality.

I had paid her with a $100 dollar bill for a $45 hour massage and she came back and placed my change on the table when I was face down on the table.

After the massage when I was getting dressed i just shoved the change into my short pockets, it was kind of dim and I did not count it. As I was leaving I instinctively pulled out my wallet and gave her the tip. I then went outside made a phone call then walked over to the corner liquor store to get a cold drink, when I pulled out the change I noticed she gave me back the $55 dollars but the $100 dollar bill was mingled in there too. now I like getting a free massage when I can and looks I got paid to have a massage this time - so it was a dilemma - keep it or give it back - pondered that for a few minutes -but being a nice guy I went back and asked for her and showed her she over payed me - she was so thankful and kept saying thank you.

so what would you have done?

I think if I got a crappy massage or the girls was bitchy or had attitude or the kind that haggles over extras I would have kept it - but this girl was really nice so I gave it back to her.

I'd like to think I'd have done the same as you did. Life isn't about taking advantage of other people's mistakes.

Absolute no hesitation...Give it back. You're good man. She will NOT forget you, either.

You made the right choice. Now you are in a lot more than the average joe and primed to get even closer, if that suits you. Also it affirms good spirit from you so a good experience for her that makes her outlook more welcoming. Just think if she knew she lost the money and you did not go back she would be second guessing herself. It is always refreshing when you see someone who knows you and has had nothing but good times with you.

idk what if you drove home 15 minutes and then realized it? I probably would just blow it off in that case but if i discovered the error in my car before I drove away i would give it back

I had an ATF once that I would see every week. Once I forgot to leave a tip but she didn't say anything. Driving back I stopped to get gas, and found the extra cash in my pocket. I then drove back to the amp and gave her the tip. She was ecstatic! And it helped me getting extras.
