I read the L.A Times article after spotting the headlines. Nothing to do with human trafficking although that phrase was used throughout the article. Keep those federal grants coming.

What a pathetic attempt....Look in the garment districts for cryin out loud. We've had this discussion numerous times and I think most of us would drop the dime on "real" trafficking.
Maybe I'm wrong and blind; and I know that we see girls getting "moved around", but I haven't gotten the sense that I'm dealing with full on "trafficking". Again, maybe I'm blind. We do have to remember Ichi's posts, about the KMob being real and we felt all of that, but (as I recall), Choi went back to it - even after the debt was paid. It's just interesting to me that "sex" trafficking is at the forefront. Again what about the garment districts? What about the Mexican and South American issue? Again, I think most of us would shun that at the least or drop the dime if we thought there was a real issue. Talk about "white knight"? Can you imagine saving some young hottie from that? Anyway, it just seems so pathetic to me when there is a real issue out there and there are pictures of girls in thigh high boots....c'mon...really. Do trafficked people wear thigh highs? |
