Every time my mongering urge comes up, I can't help but remember what a goldmine craigslist used to be. Not on the surface, but taking the time to get in contact with many girls and having so many new options (2-3 each week) and deciding which ones would be regulars. Someone please give me a time machine so I can go back to live in the early 2000's. 2002-2009, best years at the peak was 2005-2006.

Wow, dude, Miko Lee, whatta Fox! One of the best full service porn stars ever. I can see how you might regret that. I saw one of her movies that she was on a hillside outdoors with a stud and nobody around they were doing all out in the open and the set they had fake snow falling lightly but the performers kept up the action. After pounding bigtime in mish she went down on him to take a load in her mouth that was spurting big time as she pulled out to let it hit her face and drizzle down her tits and right after he nailed her again in doggie position and then put it in her ass and pounded until he pulled out and layed a two foot splooge up from her ass up her back to below her shoulders and she went back again right down on him to finish and get out the last drops and let them drizzle down her front again. Uh, yeah...regret...

BTW, what city was Miko Lee and Leilani working in and was it an apartment set up or incall at least, or was it an outcall? They must have loved it if they were doing that after the peak of their film careers, no? How long ago?

That was just a few years back. Mostly in LA. Miko in upscale hotel. Lyla Lei was 350 outcall. (I mistyped her as Leilani Lei, it should have been Lyla Lei, also very hot but shorty).
I think the best times for the hobby were the 90s-00s. After the 10s the web has backfired. |

Agreed. Those were the days. I can't believe no one has yet come up with something to fill the void.

I see providers are trying. But it's not easy. The cat's out of the bag now with 'all the internets'.
Cracking down has become the favorite 'task' for LE. Both at the local AMP level and at the Federal online level. Unfortunately it's not going to get easier any time soon. In the western world it's all about political correctness. Surveys show that almost half Americans favor legalizing it. But the other half who are against it are the problem: religious fanatics, feminists, media like MSNBC, etc. I really hope that some day they will realize that it's not a crime, it's basic biology, and for guys a plumbing issue, and nothing more. |

This has almost always been the case whether BP or CL. I agree about the screening, though. In all my years of mongering it was only the first year where I was unknowingly over-paying for "escorts" and on occasion did the screening bit. That got old really fast and I gained a huge dislike for the whole escort agency and booker scenarios. Except for massage places, I prefer my hook-ups of any kind to be set up 1-on-1. Don't mind if the girl tells a friend of hers where she's going to be for safety sake but I feel like going through a screening process in order to get access to a slut that wants to be paid is degrading. |

Then I think about probably having to deal with LE up my ass, privacy concerns. Then I think about solutions to circumvent that like elaborate offshore hosting that can support the technical requirements without becoming a huge cost and time suck without some form of revenue. Then I decide it's a big pile of shit because even if I come up with something good it will get raped & pillaged. About 1,000 different sites will scrape the content and re-post into endless bullshit "review" sites, phone number lookup sites, ad archive sites... everything drowns everything else out and it wouldn't even be useful to anyone and would just become part of the problem like exists now. |

Here is why craigslist was so great back when they still had their adult sections:
It wasn't actually because of the "erotic services" section where hookers would place their ads. If that were true, then BP would be filling the void today but it doesn't. No, it was the "adult gigs" section. That section hovered there in the midst of the normal gigs and many curious girls looking for mainstream jobs and gigs would gravitate there out of curiosity. Those were girls who would never ever consider posting an ad to sell their "services". Only real hookers do that, not them. Guys like me would post up exactly what we were looking for, make sure the ad was appealing and wait for replies. The replies that came in ranged from innocent one-timers to girls who did this regularly but were totally UTR. It didn't work simply because the section existed, it worked because it was situated alongside other mainstream sections with huge traffic which were visited by the exact demographic we would be seeking: young (under 30) girls who need extra cash and open-minded enough to use a site that is full of absolute strangers to make financial transactions with. I have tried to replicate this with BP but can't. It doesn't work there because the site and where their adult jobs section is in the very specific adult category. Nobody just accidentally strays there, even if they are pretending to end up there by accident or curiosity. The only way to restore what CL used to provide is for CL to re-introduce an "adult gigs" section in their gigs section or for a similar site with just as much or more "stranger classifieds" traffic to add an adult gigs section to a mainstream gigs section. It can't be a specialized site, it has to reach a very broad audience of a younger and open-minded demographic. It also has to be free to use and not require any sign-up and the only requirement to communicate to ad posters is an email address. There is nothing like that and it seems there will never be anything like that. Even if someone created a site exactly like craigslist is now + the adult sections, they would need to find a way to get the same amount of traffic from the same demographics - how would they do that when CL already has that market captured? |
