Follow the money? Lol! And where does that lead to? You trash the ONE politician that was Right about this whole thing. I will never understand the mindset of a GROWN man who trusts a powerful bloated government. You really think they have your best interests in mind? As for me bending over for the 1%. Good luck, i am considered the 1%. And do not support either corrupt party. They both lie, steal, and wage war. You'll realize it one day to.

But i do apologize for the insults. It just angers me when people bring race into question. And start calling people sell outs because they think differently. Maybe the Hispanic community would be doing a little better if they did not have such a bad case of group think.

Mark my words. Everybody will lose their insurance, and they will be crying and wondering why.

Is there anything that the government does better than the private sector? We are moving towards a single-payer system. Does anyone think that a government controlled healthcare system will lead to excellent service at low cost? Nothing they do is excellent or low cost.
It might lead to more "fairness", but that is not the mindset that made this a great country that produces excellent products and services.
If you really like government controlled societies where fairness is the ultimate goal, then I can recommend several excellent choices for you to relocate to.

spinner, you're over-reacting. I'm fine and dandy here. I never complain about paying my taxes, and they're high, trust me, but not as high as any modern country I know. Do I wnat a oppressive government? of course not. I want the government to do the right things for the right reasons. A single payer protects you against the greedy insurance companies, and the often criminal pharma ones. Just look at their profit. Look at how cheaper the same product is next door.
I want the government to protect us from polluters, those who would sell our environment for a quick buck, those who put shit in our food and refuse to say so.
What I don't want government to do is tell the raped girl to keep her fetus, stop me from mongering, tell me to swear on a religious book, stop my gay friends from marrying, hummmm, funny, that's all the anti-government republicans want... I thought they wanted government out of their private lives? must be missing somethin'
cheers, and monger in peace, my friends

Lechez, what government program has worked so well that you would give them power over all healthcare. If the government thinks your against them would they delay your healthcare? Well the same people that went after people with the IRS and now going to run healthcare.

Lechez, you didn't answer the question. What does the government do well? What do they do better than the private sector?
You clearly look down on profit seeking companies. You think the capitalist system is greedy and criminal? You have faith that the government will do the right things for the right reasons.
Countries have tried socialism and it does not work. It produces lazy people, corrupt politicians and lousy products and services.
If you think that a single-payer system is good, then you do not understand the benefits of competition and a free market.

Govt. does many things better than the private sector...Let's see....I don't know of any private companies that can start wars in several countries simultaneously without actually declaring war. Invade countries based on lies and deception. Murder thousands of innocent civilians including children and Americans but NEVER be accused of crimes against humanity. (That isn't an easy task) They are the best in the world at incarcerating the highest number of people in "for profit" prisons. Let's see Microsoft pull that one off. I think they are the leader in printing and wasting money....but I could be wrong. Is it wasted if it ends up in someones pocket? I'm sure I can think of more but I have to write a review of Nikki because she is one of the best at simultaneously removing semen from my balls and money from my wallet while making me happy to give them both to her as fast as I can. HEY...that's it .....The Govt is like a Vietnamese provider...she jerks us off and we give her money. I better post a review of Uncle Sam while I'm at it!! YMMV....Monger Longer!

I get to keep my insurance. The cost goes up 7% next year and my employer is paying for it. What do you think of THAT?

If you have been insured before 2010 you're "grandfathered" in. I got my cancellation notice last month and have until Dec. 31 to get on ObamaCare. If I qualify for subsidy my insurance will be less with more coverage....if I don't qualify it will be almost 300% more. I'm paying now $172 a month for shit coverage with a high deductible. If I don't qualify (based on my income) for the subsidy my same plan will cost $500 to $650 per month depending which company I choose. Cambodia is looking better and better! For those that think this is a crazy idea...check this out. 1 BR studio apt furnished $70 a month.http://cambodiarealestate.cu.cc/list...roperty27.html
or a gorgeous 2 BR fully furnished house on the beach for $300 a month! http://cambodiarealestate.cu.cc/listings_property9.html
AND for you really big spenders...a 2BR 3 bath 2 story house on the beach for a whopping $390 a month. http://cambodiarealestate.cu.cc/list...operty110.html this is a nicer house than I live in now for $2100 a month with NO BEACH!
