MPKid's advice is spot one. If you are planning a trip to Thailand a couple months out, a TLL account is a great idea. You'll have more attention from young Thai girls than you can manage.

Absolutely.... Thailand (Most of SE Asia for that matter) is opposite land. Think of all the US stereotypes and they are the opposite there. Bring an unlocked phone and buy a sim card at the airport. Be sure to get the unlimited everything (talk text data) I think it's about $20 for 2 weeks or $30 for a month. BE SURE you get unlimited. Buy 3 or 4 blackberry phones here for $50-$100 each and every girl you meet will suck a mile of dick to get a "brack belly". I highly recommend bringing an unlocked BlackBerry phone to use there. ALL the girls use BB messenger. Its the easiest way to communicate with your girls when you are there....plus you can tell your ATF that she can have your BB when you leave (You'll score major points). Nothing is more fun than traveling to Phuket or Phi Phi Island with a sweet young Thai girl that has never had the opportunity to travel to these beautiful places. Paying 4000-5000 for an overnight is ridiculous. There are different prices. In pattaya sometimes 1000-2000. In Bangkok 2000-3000. Never 4000-5000.
