Fascinating topic I am with in a month or two of retiring (at least in the So CA area. Moving to OR where the hobby is almost non existent. My friend katie (HB) is on a long vacation so she is out. Just a genitic deformity in my optic nerve something my eye doc has monitored since 1987
It happened to my great aunt but when she was 95 and she lived until 105 and write about pioneer women who walked across the plains she was quite a character
One morning I just started to see something in the corner of me eye "kind of like a rat" moving around but unfortunately that black spot spread to the center of the eye
Surgery twice has slowed the progression but now the right eye is showing the same symptoms
I like to throw money at pussy but I found the best Drs to work the problem however I have to be pragmatic as the dr are as they say 10-90% change to lose everything
Maybe one of you genitic genius mongers will have a moment of brilliance after coming in Joanne and figure out how to make replacement eyeballs
