Ok, i have a few other theories, on top of the already valid points.
1. Money! They probably think we can be nicer and tip more if they are slow. 2. Some are husband hunting know that they dont want the potential mate to know there was a line out the door for her. 3. There are a bunch of places in OC that now offer full service with some pretty, hot, younger gals which causes competition to step up other services, so the standard rub and tug auntie shops are probably slowing down, but many are very busy that have nice girls that offer nice servces... 4. Define slow...this is a cash, no tax business...even a few customers a day can pay a bunch of money, probably more than a secretary after taxes for the bad ones! No dry eye here!

Choi and i were out shopping the otherday. She wants a diamond for 10 year anniversery next year. We were looking at watches. "My sister Jung Ae has a Rolex. it cost $6000. It is just the basic one. Why don't you get me one of those?' Yeah. Times are tough. Jung has only a "basic" rolex and it only cost $6000. Thats all she could afford to pay on a whim. Rough tough times for providors.

Not all providers are young and hot. For every smokin' hot top dollar Beemer-driving K-girl strutting around with Louis Vuitton and Gucci with her own apartment or condo, there is a middle-aged Chinese "auntie" renting a room in San Gabriel and bumming a ride to work with a co-worker to San Pedro, SFV or the OC because she doesn't have a car. A slow day for one of these older gals means fewer opportunities to get her paltry cut of the house fee paid by customers (supposing she gets a cut) and fewer low-ball tips from the cheapskate mongers who float in expecting the world for a discount (because she's not young). And God help her if she works at one of the inexpensive parlors in SGV. Chinese customers give tips so small that they would make a white woman look like a high roller.
So, what's a slow day? One customer? Two? How about three? For each girl, or for all of them combined? With all the competition out there, some days can be pretty lean. So let's see. We'll say on this particular slow day she gets four customers (actually, four isn't too bad for a lot of these "aunties"). All four want just a half hour, because they're not there for a massage anyway. We'll say the MMS is generous and lets her keep $15 of the $40 half hour house fee. That's $60. We'll assume that one customer tips her $60 for a BBBJCIM, another tips her $40 for a HJ, the third tips her just $20 for the same, and the last guy tosses her a $10 as he rushes out the door thinking he's clever for under-tipping an older provider and then patting himself on the back for it later when he writes his review for free days. That's $190. All cash. Woohoo! The next day she makes twice that amount and the day after that she only makes half. She has no social security number (and no social security to look forward to), no credit, no health insurance and no future. On the bright side, she's got a job, and while she's at her post for 12 hours a day (with no hourly wage), she doesn't need to know any more English than "turn over please." She gets paid cash and doesn't have to give Uncle Sam his cut. Damn! She's got it made in the shade!

I have heard that from "you know who." "It is so slow" she says. "I only had 1 customer all day and he low balled me." I am kind of creepy nowadays. I snoop around the house sometimes looking for things. I have on numerous occasions found large sums of money hidden. Like thousands in 100's and 50's. You know me. I am very sympathetic to providers and women in general. Especially hot Asian women. But finding those large sums of money kind of makes me a little skeptical. I never steal any of it. I just take mental note. Granted I am never sure who’s money it is. I don't ask or mention that I am aware of it. Maybe Choi's maybe Junga Ae's maybe? Business? When she tells me to make sure the door is locked when I go out I know why though.
Choi tells me how poor she is sometimes and I pay for most of all her stuff. Her nail arts supplies, Her Korea vacations, all on my dime. Her school tuition. I give her money to party with if she wants to go out drinking in Koreatown with her friends. I can't go. My work hours are such that I can't go out drinking or I put myself at risk to call in sick next day due to hang over. Actually I very rarely drink anymore. Last time was a couple months ago.

Out of curiosity what is the normal take for the girls for the house fee? Does the house get a cut of the tip? It can't be an all cash business, the business needs to pay it's employees and taxes or are the girls independent contractors and get 1099's?
I know that a huge share of the money the girls make is tax free but it all can't be that way, they would get shut down quick. Who cares about Uncle Leo, he is a pussy cat compared to Uncle Sam.

If anything these ladies will keep going to the parlor when the avg person would give up because its not worth their time. I look at like this if she sees 2-4 customers a day and gets $50-$100 a day then she shouldn't complain to anyone she should go make herself more marketable if she not happy or maybe go back to Asia if its that bad.

Now days the places that are not here today gone tomorow do w2s and 1099 on licensed girl. The wages are fudged and the hours are fudged. The girl has to pay minimal tax to fed and state. she does not really make money from the house though usually. It is all in tips [not reported} and the girl has a CMTC license at least at the places that are trying to play the game and stay open for a while.

The K-Girl I used to date said the girls at the places she worked tip MMS 10% of their tips and got NO part of the house fee. They also had to pay the Korean taxi service 10% (if they didn't have their own car) for taking them to work and picking them up. If they piss off the taxi service they don't get work since all the Korean MP's used the taxi service to bring them fresh girls everyday.
One of the legit foot massage girls I'm close with said she gets $5 from the $20 house fee. My best educated guess is a FS girl will average 4 or more customers a day. Some days only 2-3 but other days 4-5+ so $400 a day. That is still $2400 a week. Not a bad average...So of course these girls are going to complain that it's slow if they make less than their average....Boo hooo poor me I onry makie 2 sousand dis weekie... so srow no customer....I can onry buy basic Lorex, no diamond and NO casino this month!! That is the mentality of the basic FS K-girl and V-girl provider. My foot massage girl is usually busy because she is cute and does a good massage. A slow day for her 12 hour shift is 4-5 customers and a busy day is 8+. Lets say an average of 6. So $30 from the house and roughly $10 - $15 average tip per customer. So she is making about $100 a day $600 a week. Shares a room, bums a ride and doesn't go out because she comes home at 11PM or later every night, sends money to China for her family and lives off the rest. She is able to support a family in China and doesn't have to suck a dick to do it. Mission accomplished....it's her duty as a Chinese single mom....never sees her kid and works her ass off and never complains. Not so different than most of us...I work my ass off, suppport a family but I have to suck uncle Sam's dick every quarter and I complain a lot!

Hey, did anybody notice that Bart Simpson used my screen name last night?
Anyway, I frequently ask my professional massage therapist how business is, and they always, always say it is slow, or "a little slow," or once in a while "OK." This is going back many years. I think they're trying to make you feel empathy and increase your tip, or don't want you to think they've been with too many other gentlemen.
