Sorry to hear that dude... Americanized Asians are a waste of time anyways. I think you said you don't like the FOB types...so you're gonna fight an uphill battle. American girls are mostly entitled cunts and Americanized Asians are even worse. Great tips! Right now I am still relatively new to touring the sites, but I have done some tours in NY where I am now. I find that as one person said, talking to them or asking them what they want is key to getting them to be an active participant.

I agree with MPkid, and at the risk of sounding racist I will give one example of how different cultures assimilating into American society sometimes loose their charm.

I live in a highly concentrated Asian city in So. California. In the 90's I lived in Asia for a few years during the 90's and still travel to Asia frequently, as recent as last month. Typically in Asia pedestrians don't really have the right of way like they do in Southern California - you take your life into your hands if you are not very careful as a pedestrian there.

Where I live I am amazed sometimes at the cavalier approach some Asians have to walking in front of moving cars, even jay-walking, I assume because they are told "cars have to stop for you in America." True, but not always the case.

I'm guessing that too many Asian ladies are told "you are the one in charge, when it comes to men in America." Western Feminism - the gift that keeps on giving! My theory is, like MPkids says, Americanized Asians are even worse is like the Asian pedestrian that thinks every car, no matter the situation must yield to them, so too Americanized Asians ladies sometimes take their new found freedom to a new level of man-hating, pussy-powered, feminism that makes for some serious blue-balled, yellow-fevered white boys.

Good Post Brad: Umm I have to agree with you about walking and driving. ABC Supermarket is the scariest place on earth as far as driving. I've been all through Mex and the driving and walking there is terrible also, but Asian walking is so cavalier that it's insane. The driving is absolutely pitiful, for the most part. Oh well...

LOL about Western Feminism: FOB is always the best, but once they've been here for a while they quickly become part of the feminist culture: Asian men can be very demeaning and when they get here it's payback time. Also fueling this "new behavior" Americanized Asians get is they learn fast that a man can't slap the shit of of them here. Back home if a woman gives a guy shit (for being out all night or losing the family fortune at a casino etc) he might slap the fuck out of her and if she doesn't like it and complains to her mom, sister, grandma etc they will ALL tell her the same thing "you deserved it for mouthing off!" Then if she gets bold enough to call a cop over there the police officer is likely to slap her for wasting their time! Now they have this power over here to say anything and if you crack her one upside her cum catcher you go straight to jail and she gets the house and half your money. You get hosed by her lawyer, pay fines, anger management classes, have a domestic violence arrest on your rap sheet and life as you knew it will never be the same. Hell, you might get all that if she just SAYS you hit her! Ask Ichi about that one.... That's a big incentive for her to try to get you to go off and belt her! LOL

I don't know if it's a cultural or racial thing. I think its this generation that feel a sense of entitlement. I'm a baby boomer and was brought up to respect my elders and others. I was also taught to look both ways before crossing a street. Now days they figure if someone hits them they can just sue and get rich. People in general don't give a flip about others, and are selfish. I worry about this country.

Nah, it's a cultural thing. Like Mex...I've never seen even an american get a ticket for jaywalking...it's just something you do...while in TJ does as TJ does...

I think this is the basic problem. The common advice out there I've found, whether I ask for it or not, is that I have high expectations. I'm not really attracted to Asians. I know that's odd when I go to MPs sometimes which are almost all Asian, but it's true. I can't help liking white girls. My work is here in the US so I can't really consider going overseas to find anyone.

My only expectations are attractive and nice. That is all. I have found that here in the US how a woman looks is meaningless, they all have the same entitlement attitudes so why should I focus on the ones that are "within my reach" when they will not have any more interest in me than their hotter versions?

I don't think the hotter ones are any harder to get a chance with than others, they just have more guys chasing them. I'm talking to 5 civilian girls right now that I met within the past 3 months and trying to get any one of them to communicate consistently or head out on a date with me is pretty much impossible. I did have a quick meal with one this past week, she's really beautiful and has been nice with me but I know underneath it all she is the same kind of shallow douche-chaser they all are. Some of them hide it well and then you find out who they've dated, who they're currently dating or who they want to date and it's all the same kind of guy which I can never be.
