I know this is an old thread but I seem to have better luck in Orange County. Many times I'm in LA and I'll find an interesting location and run to this place to do some recon only to find out the last review was 2013 for something like that. I wish the LA hobbyist would be more active and getting some of these places up today with new reviews. Hollywood area seems to have a ton of untapped locations without reviews.
