and wrote a wonderful 6 sentence review (one sentence was referencing me) where he went on to say nothing has changed and nothing new to report. I mean, did he really deserve to get 10 days for telling us nothing has changed since last time he went there? Wouldn't NOT POSTING a review accomplish the same thing?

Here is an example of what I think could be a solution:

New review of an unreviewed provider that gives HJ or more = 12 days
New review of a reviewed provider with 5 or less reviews = 10 days
New review of reviewed provider with 6+ reviews = 8 days
TOFTT that turned out legit = 10 days
Any review of a reviewed legit provider = 5 days
1st review of a reviewed legit provider that has crossed the HJ+ line = 10 days
Your second review of the same girl = 5 days
Your third review of the same girl = 0 days
Any review of less than 8 sentences = 3 days
Any review under a provider you didn't actually see (Review for Susie ..."but I saw Amy") = 0 days

I know there are MANY other possibilities here and it will make a lot of work for the staff but I would volunteer to help police this as I am sure many other regulars would also.
There will never be a prefect system and what we have is great...but if back in 2007 Apple said the iPhone is the greatest phone ever and we'll NEVER need to improve it or change anything Apple would now be out of business. If aging Asian legit providers didn't switch to jerking us off...nobody would keep going see them. If MPR stays the same and does not try to improve what they have while their biggest competition still only copies them... they will stagnate and have a decline in usage and participation (as we are seeing lately). Being the best means nothing unless you keep striving to be better than the rest.

Great stuff, MPKid. How about a 2 day penalty when you put your review in the wrong geographic area? I see so many OC, San Gabriel and SFV reviews in "Los Angeles" it's irritating as fuck. And I can't select multiple regions using area code search to figure it all out.

I think the key to more NEW reviews (places and providers) is 2 fold. 1. Bonus days for NEW providers and or more bonus days for NEW providers at NEW places. 2. Make it easier to add new providers to existing places. None of us like entering all the same info that already is there....just to add a new provider name to the place so this breeds laziness and you get guys that (I won't mention names since we all know who does this all the time) either post under the wrong name or to get their free days just write another review of the same provider again and again.
More mongers will be more likely to try new providers and review them for the extra days. Currently there is 0 incentive to waste time and money trying to find new talent when for the same 10 days I can write a review for the same girl over and over without even going to see her. THAT in my opinion is the biggest flaw in the system and also the easiest to fix.
If they powers that be want a quick fix just give 10 days for NEW (previously never reviewed providers) reviews and 5 days for all others. ANYTHING is better than what we have now!

You sir, have nailed it and boiled it down to the basics. KISS is what works.

I would add that keeping the 10 days might not be a bad idea and making new establishment reviews 15...

How does anyone expect this site to improve drastically if no one is willing to pay for the privilege of being here. It's not like Starbucks is going to pay to advertise. And I realize I'm one of the cheap sucks that never pays. But listening to everyone bitch and moan reminds me of my wife.

When i first started here it was more of a good group of mongers who had a nice flow of information. Reviews were more honest and open. The forums had very good info. Somewhere along the way this place changed dramatically. Just go read the OC reviews. Will put you to sleep. Same reviews from different mongers. Nothing new, nothing different, nothing exciting. I know for a fact some of the popular hj girls with abundant boring repetitive reviews are actually quite fun and daring. But every monger is afraid to let the cat out of the bag. And if one does, many monger hearts are broken and those mongers fuck the whole thing up.

the members are this site. And the site is only as good as the members who frequent it and the info they give out. It is no coincidence that many of the great members have left or jyst stopped contributing and now lurk.

i have no answers, and am myself a lurker. Less stress, no lines at new shops and hot tail i find. And no stupid internet threats from white nights and pissed providers.

You are far from a lurker bro and like you said, you opened the Nuru door and continue to provide 411 in the forums and PMs. That's how it should be.
Let's face it. The reviews and General Discussion are really just to get eyeballs and get them to join and become mongers extraordinaire.

I don't post a lot of the local stuff anymore because it's all been said and done. I do find new places out of the basin and I provide info on that.

The HX girls I see don't want their info out there in the GP, that's why they HX. If they're on backpage, that's a different story it's fair game.

I just saw a review from Jenny at Ming in Alhambra. It reminded me I need to pay a visit to that tall drink of water. I'm sure some of you have fucked her. I haven't but I probably wouldn't post to GP if I did, but I would share on the VIP.
