Is humaniplex worth it? I'm a cheap ass and don't want to pay if it's not worth it.

If you can't send email from your work email, give them your work phone to verify etc then you'll have a tough time being able to pass screening. If you can find a way to pass then it's worth 10 times the one time $25 fee

HX has recently changed their membership model. In addition to the initial $25 to join, you need to purchase 5000FX points per month or roughly $60/year. You can pay less if you renew 90 days at a time.

Who the hell would trust that kind of site to contact their work discreetly? Who would trust a site like that to have records of their real name? The web server is hosted in TX, it's got US jurisdiction.

It's worth it. Great fun and gives plenty of fodder for this site.

I recall when it was the Troothsayer site - it was basically free (to a certain degree) and had some decent chat/interactions with providers.

Nothing like it (HX) is today - the Trust angle is very cool, but the requirement to earn FX points (so you don't have to purchase) is annoying if that's simply not part of your budget.

Seems like a pretty good niche/community that has a decent check/balance system for peeps on both sides of the mongering table.

Haha, CF....that's the conundrum - to get enough HX points to interact without creating a new budget item to simply communicate, yet alone, donate to their HX war chest before you get to play with their chest and treasure trove bodies...

PS - Novato - any tips/secret to obtaining HX pts w/out having to shell out $ to at least connect with 'Plex ladies? Thx!
