Who knows what assurances or deals were made over covering their hind quarters in legal arena but you gotta know it was a calculated risk, since their legal team had to weigh in before it came out, by reports. Also there is talk of a complete step by step investigation of their whole process from the start and to the present of digging back in their files for something to use back 11 years that would please someone and be so unsettling to someone, that would be a huge money play and who knows who is paying and how much for such a production? There was even some talk on CNN of this investigation and really getting every contact and memo out in the open so that it would be transparent. Maybe their legal team bungled their homework. Might be interesting. However the real joke is that NBC wants to collect on both ends of the scam by ensuring they would come out with a poll favoring Clinton, backing up their scam. Now NBC/Wall Street Journal poll has the results you listed released today. The kicker...2 networks released the info that the heavily reported polls you referred to were taken BEFORE the 2nd Debate!!! Not AFTER. Another attempt to misrepresent the current reality. Oh and BTW...NBC seems to be reaching for cover! They FIRED Billy Bush from the Today Show, as if his work for them these last eleven years was all of a sudden vile and disgusting(don't forget salacious) and deserved to be a firing offense to public morality, when they were the management that made the decision to keep the audio/video feed and use in future, but now Throw Billy Bush Under The Bus, as if their current management knew nothing about any decision making to air the segment and had no problem using an employee or employees as cannon fodder. Wow! Must have been a handsome deal they cut with some to expose themselves to the possible blowback down the road. They better hope Trump doesn't get elected. Maybe NBC is holding hands with a majority of the media to believe they can skate? And Trump is crazy for saying it is a rigged system? All a calculated risk. Part of the calculation is obviously figuring no real investigation would pop up before the election and they better hope for none after too! As we all know: Lies cover lies...until the truth comes out!
