Politically Expedient choice. Lots of conflicting stances on topics. Will she do whatever it takes to whisk Joe across the finish line? You betcha. Changes her views and stands as often as changing undies. Is that good for her? Sure, in short term. Is that good for Joe? Maybe. Is that good for us? Hmmm. She is a lot younger and no doubt would love to fill Joe's shoes the easy way. Lots of questions, yes. She is a co-sponsor of Green New Deal. Flip Flopper Extraordinaire! During campaign for President this year she took on Joe for his record on civil rights and blacks issues. Now with her part of ticket, she seems so happy to be "that" close to her chances of continuing to be on the rise.

Sure, sure VP is not Prez...but it may or may not be just what Joe needed?

You watch if they get in Joe will be gone in a short time. Health, mental stability or what ever and they will have who they wanted in there. I hope it doesn’t happen.

The VP debates, of course are not at the top of focus but Kamala will have a chance to explain her MO of flip-flopping. Joe must be wondering why he agreed to do 3 debates and surely they will be a chance for Joe to get down for 50 pushups verbally.

The prelude and last response about cognitive testing may show again. Is there a better answer?

Did you follow the exchanges with Kamala and Tulsi Gabbard? Kamala said Gabbard was a Putin clone or some such. Kamala has a lot of "edges" many of which are for momentary effect not for representing firm policy stances. You hear her speak of stories of her parents, grandparents, etc. We know of her tenure in CA as AG. Prosecuting little people for marijuana convictions. Heard Willie Brown protege. Who really is this woman? Just saying bares looking into. Maybe some who know more about Joe choosing her can enlighten.

One thing to add: USA has always been known as a melting pot. You all heard that in school. There was a lot of talk out of Joe that first he would choose a woman running mate and soon after said it would be a woman of color. When he was confronted by Kamala about his history over years and years regarding races and women indicating there is there there, he took notice. No doubt it is more than his campaign taking notice and shaping his outward statements. She's now part of ticket. It's up to all to decide how they feel about the campaigns and if the choice of candidates and eventual office holders are based on what they will do for the people overall or if for other reasons. Other vague promises you can bet will go in the direction of huge taxes. To fix effect of Pandemic no matter who is in costs are huge. Looks like no matter what effect of virus will be with us for some time.
