999 in El Monte on Garvey is now history. The last shop operator of this place, did not have a business license to operate a parlor.

South El Monte is currently working on zoning regulations to limit AMPS to be at a minimum of 500 feet between each other. In some areas of the city, many shops are cluster very closely to each other. It sounds like many shops will be forced to close and relocate. The bottom line to mongers, will this reduce competition alone Garvey and drive up house fees?
