There was a saying: when you get older, you vote with your wallet. Well, unless you pull 250k a year, you should never vote for a Republican. Any middle or lower class who votes for Romney for economics/jobs/debt issues has been fooled by the elephant's propaganda.

I watched the debate tonight and even before seeing any of the coverage and polls it was clear to me that Romney won this night.

I also realized something else, Obama will have a hard time and I really think it is due to the color of his skin. I wish that wasn't the case but I hear it all around me including my own brother. He talks about Obama being a Socialist, Muslim, not even born in this country and on and on. His hate of Obama is troubling and he is not alone, most people I know who are conservatives feel the same way. There hate is nothing like I have felt before for any other Democrat. I know long term Democrats who will not vote for him based on the color of his skin, it makes me sad.

I am actually planning on writing in Ron Paul for President, he says what needs to be said regardless on if it is popular or not. I figured Obama will win anyway but after tonight I am not so sure. The US is looking for any reason to not vote for Obama and they may have just gotten it. It is sad that we still judge a man by the color of his skin rather than the content of his character.

The US is still a baby in the world but now we are acting like a petulant child who will kick and scream until we finally get our way. We have allowed the ignorant to be the loudest voice of this country and we will pay in the long run.

I just saw a report today on how the middle class has grown in Mexico, I hope they don't close the borders to us American's once the shit hits the fan here.
