That ad looks as fake as most of the Asian massage parlor ads. Who would also fall for the $80 rate? The reverse image search also makes it obviously fake. If these are actually the kind of ads LAPD runs all they are getting is the stupidest of stupid mongers.

Hey, Sir Lynx A Lot - generally LAPD and/or sheriffs let individual practitioners slide. they are looking for volume and in some cases, responding to neighboring businesses, so they concentrate on AMPs. But even then, the incidence of busts is quite low. The number of AMPs has exploded recently and LE can't keep up. They make a token effort and maybe hit 1-2% of parlors each year. They just need to show the little old ladies that they are making an effort.

Not to argue a moot point, but an AMP posting fake ads has their actual parlor further establish that they offer massage service. This, and since you at least agree with my assumption that it is a "fake ad" could be the work of some thug who wants to set you up, back you in a corner, rob you... etc!

And are you suggesting that no one goes to BP or CL looking for an $80 piece of azz?

I highly doubt that ANY law enforcement agency is out there seeking only mongers (or any sort of criminal) with high IQ's... The way they justify their own existence is by the number of arrests made, no matter how smart or stupid the criminal is.
