How Many Of You Spend Until You're Broke?

Lol be honest. There is no shame here. How many of you spend as much as you can afford on MPs/independents until you barely have enough to feed yourself at the end?

Typically hobbyists are fiscally responsible. In general, the hobby costs way less than being married with children. The best aspect of the hobby is that you can make a budget and try to stick to it.
That said, I have seen some oddities. E.g. a monger on a bike at the AMP, which implies he didn't have a car....so how can he afford the cost?
Also, have seen some guy at this upscale bar with an expensive looking provider, escort type, where this package costs $1,200, and the guy didn't look like he could afford it, so most likely he 'borrowed' the money.
But these are outliers, as I said most mongers I see/know are relatively robust financially.

I've always figured I was one of the outliers, and actually I used to ride a bike to AMPs Basically I've never really been driven to make lots of money, been much more spiritually, artistically motivated, and I love to workout and exercise. I basically monger until I can monger no more, but I always leave funds for food and such. I've received some inheritance money at different points, and mongered way more in those times! I envy the ones who do make good money, but I'm sure it takes up time, and that can be a stickler for me, personally. However I can see the rewards you may reap.

Like Camp said, I set a budget for the hobby that I can afford. But I won't lie. There are months where I have gone significantly over budget. All I can do is look back on the month and smile. Now that both kids are out of college, I think I can up the budget a bit. With what I spent on college for these kids, I could have and a really good time.

Have you ever thought of what "toy" you would have bought if you didn't spend a wad blowing a wad?

Mongering usually just cuts into what I would consider my savings budget. My bills are always paid. The prime motivating factor for me to make more money is to have more of it for mongering. If I made an extra $100,000 per year, I would estimate 20% of it would go to savings and the other $80,000 burned on mongering. If I found myself short of money I wouldn't monger, I'd just find more creative ways to masturbate.
