Korea was a different country back in the Korean War days when women would prostitute themselves for basic survival. It's very different than just 30 years back. Nowadays S. Korea is a prosperous country (think Samsung, Kia, Hyundai). There's a thriving middle class now that makes up the majority of the country.
Back then, the Korean government had licensed/registered prostitutes, with regular medical exams and all, available to the U.S. Military camps setup there.
Since 2005, they've gotten on the human trafficking bandwagon, and really cracked down on brothels and prostitution, and trans-national pimping networks that used to bring them to the U.S.
That's why you see only old Korean prostitutes in OC AMPs, those are the ones who came here young 20+ years ago and stayed. A lot of the older prostitutes were the same ones servicing the U.S. Military and married them to get a green card and ticket to the U.S.
There are still some young and hot Koreans to be found in L.A. County AMPs, but for the most part the hottest ones can now only be found in the still-thriving Korean AAMP scene (where they come on the 6 month automatic Visitor Visa) .
If you remember just 10 years back, this wasn't the case, hot & young model quality Koreans were available all over SoCal.
