Exec's experience parallels mine, and why I miss the adult section of CL so much.
Girls would search the higher level "gigs" section and then browse the adult section without thinking too much about it. They weren't dumb, most of them knew what section they were in when replying to certain ads, but a lot of them would also mentally write off the implications if the request was innocent enough and didn't sound like porn or sex work. The same exact ad offering $200 would get replied to by outright street whores or their pimps, but when listed for $80 would get cute college girls or broke actresses & models replying. My goal was never to get them to agree to come over for anything sexual - my goal was first and foremost to filter down to the very attractive girls who would simply agree to come over for whatever reason. Some of my dumbest ads just offered to give foot massages to cocktail waitresses at the end of their night or that I was just looking for a cute girl to strip for me for 15 minutes. "You seem tired, how about I give you a massage instead." and no girl would say no to that because once they met me they felt comfortable. Some would try to be prudes and keep their panties on but getting those off is easy once they're relaxed and having their body touched.
This is all dead now, thanks to the government's crusade against CL. Now I have to go trolling in all kinds of other places and it takes ten times the effort to get similar results. The same kinds of girls will be put off by the attempts (or demand more $ like outright hos) when if it were a CL adult ad circa 2005 then their prudishness would be minimal.
Now on CL it's the same 10-15 bottom-feeders who reply to any ad, over and over, any ad.
