Former Miss Universe Alicia Machado (a.k.a. Trump's Nemesis) Stuns at Metropolitan Fashion Week

Former Miss Universe Alicia Machado — a.k.a. the woman Donald Trump once called "Miss Piggy" — absolutely stunned at Metropolitan Fashion Week's closing gala in Burbank, California, on Saturday, October 1.

The Venezuelan stunner who took home the Miss Universe crown in 1996, made jaws drop in a body-conscious gold dress with short sleeves and a slightly flared skirt. She accessorized with all-gold accessories, too, including a square clutch, platform pumps and hoop earrings. Machado completed her ensemble with a sleek ponytail, parted down the center, plus peach cheeks and a headpiece made of roses in her hair.

Alicia Machado was on hand not only to present an award, but also to watch her 8-year-old daughter, Dinorah, work her modeling skills onstage. The little girl wore an embellished pink dress and a rose-filled headpiece in her hair.

The pageant queen's appearance came just one day after Trump, who threatened to take her crown away due to weight gain back in 1996, attacked her via Twitter. "Using Alicia M in the debate as a paragon of virtue just shows that Crooked Hillary suffers from BAD JUDGEMENT!" the Republican presidential candidate, 70, wrote. "Hillary was set up by a con."

This, of course, came after he had called into Fox & Friends earlier in the week to call Machado "the worst [Miss Universe] we ever had." He said, "She was the winner, and she gained a massive amount of weight, and it was a real problem."

The musical theater singer, who was just 19 when she won the title, hit back via Instagram. "When I was young Trump humiliated me, insulted me, disrespected me both publicly and privately in the cruelest way," Machado wrote later that day in Spanish (then re-posted in English). "The same way this happened to me, it's clear that throughout the years, he's continued his actions and behavior with other women.

She continued, "I will continue to stand on my feet, sharing my story and my absolute support for Secretary Clinton, on behalf of all women — my sisters, aunts, grandmothers, cousins, women within the community."
