Divorce is like a box of chocolates. I had a female co worker who was offered and accepted 35% of the estate by her husband's lawyer, he made more $$ and they pitched it as she contributed 35% to the estate and that's what she gets. Or she can fight it out in court. She took the 35% and ran.

My sister was the breadwinner in her marriage, she had to pay alimony. She made about 40% more than he did when you include bonuses and stock options. Ichi is right. both were a wreck during the divorce proceedings. Shit happens, if you're done with the relationship cut bait and bail, move on.
