San Gabriel is in the process of limiting massage businesses, from a peak of nearly 60 to about 20. These 20 businesses must have an approved Conditional Use Permit (CUP) by the Planning Commission to keep their doors open for business. After 1/20/18, all massage businesses without a CUP must be closed, unless they are in the appeal process! The intent is to keep like business at least 1000 feet from a CUP holder. All closed business locations (addresses will be provided at a later date).
FYI, the City of South El Monte is also forcing AMPs within 500 feet of a CUP holder to close.
