Remember several years ago all the hubbub was revolving around craigslist and their infamous erotic section, which at the time had tons of nudity, girls with cum on their faces, and just crazy stuff.
Well, craigslist shut down that section, in effect saving their website by complying with the feds. So several years ago after all that went down, backpage was the up and cummer. The bulk of the traffic eventually ended up there, they made hundreds of millions of dollars and the rest is history.
Backpage.com has tried to fight the government, but it blew up in their faces.
