San Gabriel is in the process of limiting massage businesses, from a peak of nearly 60 to about 20. These 20 businesses must have an approved Conditional Use Permit (CUP) by the Planning Commission to keep their doors open for business. After 1/20/18, all massage businesses without a CUP must be closed, unless they are in the appeal process! The intent is to keep like business at least 1000 feet from a CUP holder. All closed business locations (addresses will be provided at a later date).

FYI, the City of South El Monte is also forcing AMPs within 500 feet of a CUP holder to close.

Any action with the new management?

Does anyone one know if S.H. Therapy in Harbor City is still open? I called twice so far today and I get a auto message which does not clarify anything. Also when I back check the call on my cell phone it just shows "MC" and the audio says "Microphone" ?

OK I am answering my own question - they are open!

No action, what so ever. Jenny is now in Cypress. No idea where Candy and Cindy are.

I heard but can’t confirm that this place on the side street next to the Asian Garden Mall in Westminster is closed. I hear papasan, Jason, is now spending the day playing. His wife is still running True Health on Brookhurst. Jason was definitely a player so we know what kind of play he’s getting!

Add Victoria Spa 9518 Miramar Rd, San Diego, CA 92126 to the list too. Drove by there last Saturday and it was a vacant storefront with a FOR LEASE sign.

I drove by this place, today. It’s closed as well as the rest of the businesses in that building. They are gutting and possibly remodeling the entire building.

It’s official. The city of San Gabriel had the historic Chinese Ancient Foot Massage lock its doors This is due to their CUP ordinance. The small foot massage location on the first floor is still open but the upstairs body massage location is locked tight.

I have nothing against the shop but beware. They may have reopened against the city’s orders. CAUTION bros!

Does anyone know if Bibi at Green Spa at Baldwin Park is the same girl as the one who worked in Santa Monica area in the past?

Thanks OO. Also closed FS shops on Miramar Rd for some time are Coco Spa, and Health Spa(Sakura), however Aria Spa on KM has one, and KnowKnots has two and since Coco had connection with former Hana(now Pine Spa) there are places to go still. The talent has branched out.

Valencia shut down at the same time. (Same owner). Ortega never reopened. Not sure about Valencia.

Unconfirmed closed Sumiko Spa on El Cajon Blvd, in San Diego. Would not be surprised. Mentioned by member who will confirm and post up here. (It's not much of a loss guys).
