The Beacon Journal reports Hyang Rae Kim and her alleged accomplice Young Howski face felony charges. Police raided Lily Massage Spa at 3051 Barber Road on Tuesday and arrested Kim, who now faces charges of prostitution with HIV.
Kim is now in the Summit County Jail with HIV. Howski of Green was arrested and is now free on bond. She was charged with promoting prostitution.
Both women face penalties of one to five years in prison if convicted.
Norton Police report the two have a history of prostitution, with a record of arrests across five states. The Barberton Health Department is urging anyone who visited the massage parlor to contact them for further information and testing.
If it's proven that spa clients contracted the virus, the charges Kim faces could be more severe.
