Somebody on the West Side has got to know, but they might not be saying. At one time there were a lot living over there and it was typical to hear they were models.
How does that saying go? Actresses are usually models. Models are usually call girls or work for agencies. Call or agency girls sometimes work as masseuses. Masseuses say they are CMT's or physical therapists. Parlor girls say they are going to school. Students don't have to cop to anything. Some aspire to be actresses. So do a lot of waitresses. But everybody needs their pipes cleaned.
