On March 4, 2016, members of the Simi Valley Police Department’s Special Operations Unit in conjunction with the District Attorney's Office and local agencies conducted a reverse prostitution sting. The undercover operation targeted men soliciting females for prostitution through social media websites.

During the operation a female officer working in an undercover capacity responded to solicitations to provide sex in exchange for payment. During the operation, 40 year old Michael _____________ of Newbury Park was arrested for soliciting a prostitute. He was booked into the Ventura County Jail.

The operation targeting the “Johns” is part of an effort to combat the sex trade in Simi Valley. Prostitution is linked to sex trafficking and other serious crimes. Our goal is to deter those who engage in this activity and cause them to think twice about doing so in Simi Valley.

They bust one guy thats it??? And they probably had 15 officers and spend $40,000 grand to shame this guy. and you wonder why the state is bankrupt!
