New UPDATE: New Suspect Arrested in Massage Parlor Robbery

Oxnard, CA– Police in Oxnard have arrested Jose Ochoa in connection to an armed robbery at the Toyko Spa in Oxnard.

According to Oxnard Police, the robbery happened on February 17th, just two days before the manager of the A-1 Massage and Spa was gunned down.

Investigators say Ochoa allegedly pulled a gun and threatened several employees at the Toyko Spa. The victims told police Ochoa threatened to rape and then kill them..

Ochoa is being held on a $5 million bail. According to published reports, Ochoa admitted to police that he was involved in the deadly, Friday night robbery of the A-1 parlor. That is where 59-year-old Un Cha Kay was found shot to death.

However, David Keith with Oxnard Police, says the department is not commenting on Ochoa’s potential involvement with Kay’s death.

Ochoa is facing a number of charges including, kidnapping to commit a crime, felony rape, second degree robbery and assault with a firearm.

He’s due back in court on March 24th.
